Lesson 37 Exercises (pp. 318-319, 325-26)
- HW 1:
- Read the lesson in Deshpande and the overview here.
- Identify the aorist type for the verbs listed on pages 318 and 319. For example, for कृ अकार्षीत् अकार्ष्टाम् अकार्षुः, you would identify this as the स्-aorist (for the homework submission, you need only list the root and aorist-type). Note that, as with कृ, it is often easier to judge an aorist by its 3rd pl than its 3rd sg. form, since the स् and सिष् forms will usually be identical in the P. 2nd and 3rd sg. forms.
